Hammer Circle Club Lottery - Rules
- The funds raised through this lottery are to be used for the development and support of Hammer Circle members and the promotion of the event.
- The Draw costs £2 per number per month paid in advance. Money will be collected annually (£24) on 1st March or six monthly (£12) on 1st
March and 1st September.
- New members are welcome to join in at any time of the year paying £2 for every month remaining in the period.
- Draw is open to members, supporters, family and friends of the Hammer Circle. Current membership of the Hammer Circle is not required as the Lottery number(s) issued will verify your membership of the Draw.
- The draw will take place at the end of the calendar month before impartial observers and in the presence of the Hammer Circle Treasurer.
Any opportunity to make a draw at a gathering of members (Reunion, competitions etc) will be taken.
- Notification of the winning numbers will be:-
1. Monthly via an e-mail distribution list.
2. Posted on the Hammer Circle web-site.
3. For members not on e-mail - details posted periodically.
- A cheque to the value of 50% of the income from the monthly draw will be forwarded to the owner of the winning number within 7 days.
- If payment is not received within 2 months of the due date it will be assumed that person no longer wishes to participate in the draw and the number may be reallocated.
- An auditable breakdown of the lottery accounts will be included within the annual Hammer Circle Treasurers Report.
- If the Hammer Circle wishes to close the lottery three months written notice will be given and any monies paid in advance beyond that period will be refunded.
